I got on an SGA Kick this weekend! I watch parts of Rising Parts 1 and 2, Thirty-Eight Minutes, The Storm, The Eye, Letters from Pegasus, The Gift, and The Siege Parts 1, 2, and 3 I didn't have the patience to watch them all, but I did watch most of them. I only own the first and second season, so I was doing the highlight tour of my favorite episodes.
I miss this show. I actually like SG-U and I don't blame it for SGA getting canned (I blame SyFy and NBC Universal), but I just miss it.
- Bates. He is so freaking adorable and lovable and totally misunderstood. :-) He is my TV boyfriend. I love him so very, very, much. SGA needed more Bates. He just wanted to do what is right and he had such a sense. His video in Letters just broke my heart. THE SMILE.
- Rodney. He is loveable and obnoxious and arrogant and just fantastic. I think Rodney during The Eye and The Storm is some of my favorite early Rodney. He gets in front of a gun for Elizabeth, and then he has my favorite rant to Koyla about being an extremely arrogant man. I just kinda love everything about early Rodney. Also, during The Siege when Everett comes in and gets all military and then realizes he needs Rodney and Rodney is like Of COURSE YOU NEED US NOW. :-)
- JFlans (who I love to death, but who really cannot act). But he's so pretty to look at, and I really do love the character of John Sheppard. But yeah, cannot act.
- Ford. Happy naming things Ford. Gate Ship and Planet Waterfall! I ended with drugged out running away Ford, but I love early Ford.
- Caldwell. He's so grumpy at the beginning and so snarky to John when they are attacking the hiveship. He hasn't busted out the courting sweater yet, but that day will come.
- Sumner. Cranky, hot, really hot. And just freaking awesome. I wish they hadn't killed him but I totally understand why they did.
- Sumner & Weir. (after so many
smittywing stories, I get SAD at the end of Rising Part 2 because he is her true love and he's GONE.)
- Grodin. I still well up even though I know he's going to die. He stays being and makes them go even though he knows he's probably not going to survive, and then when Rodney tells Elizabeth, the look on her face and Zelenkas just tugs at my heart.
- Letters from Pegasus. Yes, it is an entire episode, but it is such a well done clip show. Everyone making their tape (LEADERSHIP, Miko, Zelenka!), and Sam at the end. ::loves::
- Novak. (yes, I know she's only in a few minutes, but I love her so much, especially with Hermiod)
- The City. I love Atlantis. It's pretty and shiny and dangerous.

Yes! This! Every time I re-watch I appreciate him more and more. And it's kinda nice that they (eventually) resolved his storyline, but it would've been even better if he'd stayed with the franchise in some capacity.

Hahah yeah that was the best :D

I did not fall in love with Rodney McKay until those two episodes, and after that it was just game over. Oh, Rodney. I'd fire you if you worked for me, but I <3 U on my TV. :)
