Food Post!

Truffle Mac and Cheese (it was not that great - I couldn't get truffles so I used truffle oil and it just tasted kinda fake). I had some Truffle Mac & Cheese at a restaurant and I really wanted some more but I haven't quite been able to replicate yet. I will keep trying!
San Fransisco Chicken! I have no idea the source of this recipe, but my mom has been making it since I was a kid. It's chicken, lemon, butter, and breadcrumbs, all rolled up and baked. NOM.
the Chicken with Orzo and Edamame (also NOM).
Mushroom and herb Mac & Cheese. This was good, but made me realize I hate Tarragon. Like really, cannot stand it.
Fail cupcakes and the second, much better version. :-) I have no idea what went wrong, likely measured something wrong.
Chocolate cupcakes with Raspberry frosting and fresh raspberries on top! SO GOOD. I made the raspberry frosting with fresh pureed raspberry!
Fancy pigs in a blanket (aka Hot Dogs Vol-Au-Vent!). I love French in a Flash on serious eats. These were SO good. They have a sweet mustard onion sauce.
Vanilla cupcakes with malted milk chocolate frosting and a malted milk ball on top!
Baked beans, BBQ Chicken (with homemade bbq sauce) and potato salad!
I was trying to make Mac & Cheese cupcakes. It did not turn out well. :-)
My favorite summer cake! Light and fluffy chocolate devil's food cake with whipped cream frosting and fresh fruit.
Grilled pizza! This is my new favorite thing EVER. It is so easy and FUN and tasty.
Double Dark Chocolate brownie. I wanted brownies last night and I had this double dutch dark chocolate cocoa and this was SO good. It had espresso powder in it so it has this great taste of dark chocolate and coffee.
Sausage Pepperoni Pizza! It got a little over done in the oven but it was GOOD. I also put green onion on it. I wanted pizza tonight so I made this instead of ordering. I'm so glad I did!
