Last Monday - Beef Bourguignon!

Saturday - Sausage and Gruyre Stuffed Chicken and Fluffy New Potatoes ( I futzed with the recipe a bit, but they were fantastic!) and some very basic marinara to freeze!

Today - Cheesy Orzo with Chicken Sausage and Oreo Cupcakes!

Today I worked for 4 hours, took Sam for two long walks, watched Robin Hood and made Corn Muffins, Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins, Gazpacho, Roasted Tato's, Fresh Corn, and Pork Loin with Pineapple Relish. The Gazpacho and muffins are for the week.


Fresh tomato, red pepper, red onion, and cucumber. I love fresh veggies SO MUCH.

Watching the food network in HD is captivating!

Giada was cutting a red onion and it was just amazing and crystal clear! I love it! I might have to take up Tivo space and Tivo a few HD food shows.

Also, I got home at 8:20pm tonight!! (Yes, I am excited about that - it's the earliest I've been home in over a week).

I might be traveling for work this week so that could be interesting.

And to top it all off? Our house looks AMAZING. (we've having it painted) I'll post pictures on Monday. The dining room is Raisin Torte and the living room is Wilmington Tan and our bedroom is Van Cortland Blue! The fumes are making Sam and I high, so I think we're going for a walk!

Tomorrow we're having a work pot luck so I decided to make these cupcakes.

The final product is amazing. The frosting is just the right hint of orange and the cupcakes are firm, but gooey.

(1) I ripped my pants today on my way out the door to the dog park and I mended them with duct tape.

(2) I bought a S'mores pretzel today from Pretzel Boy. It was a saltless pretzel, covered in marshmallow, then toasted and drizzled with chocolate. It might just be the most awesome thing I've ever eaten.

(3) My dog is suddenly a "good dog." She just woke up Saturday morning as "good dog" and has kept it up! Yay!

(4) My pedometer is awesome. I walk an average of 1.5 miles a day just to and from and around work. Go me!

(5) We're having Taco's for dinner!
