raisintorte | Things I cooked while on "vacation"

I have technically been on vacation since Friday, December 23, 2011, but I ended up working on 23rd, 27th, 28th, 29th, 30th, and 31st (though less this day) BUT I did it from the car and home! And because I was home I got to cook! So below are pictures of everything I made from Wed - tonight! I'm not exactly excited about going back to work tomorrow, but this is the longest I haven't been in the office in years and even if I did work like 30 hours. :-)

Wednesday Night - Nachos! We spent a day returning things, buying a new fridge (finally!), shopping, and then Nachos for dinner! Yum!

Thursday Night Sausage and Green Onion pizza with sea salt crust! It was delicious! It was supposed to have Pepperoni as well but ummm the stuff in the fridge was no longer edible. :-) So it was just sausage.

Friday - Saturday - Sea Salt Rosemary Yeast Rolls!

(Just ate the last slice tonight) Boston Cream Pie Cake! OMG THIS WAS THE BEST THING EVER. It kinda took hours to make but it was so worth it. It doesn't look pretty (it slid a little before it set, but it was DELICIOUS).

New Years Brunch - French Toast and Bacon!

Sam was hilarious. She didn't want to move her toys so she fell asleep with her ass hanging off the bed.

We have no idea what she did, but she was lurking around areas she doesn't normally go, and when Andy went to investigate she did this. :-) That is not the face of an innocent dog.
