Things I Made In My Kitchen!

Life has been a little crazy, but I did have time to make Christmas Cookies this weekend. Yesterday I made mint thumbprint cookies with Hershey Kisses in the middle (yum, but I kinda put in too much chocolate, so they are really fudgy), Chocolate Peppermint Cookies, and Dark and White Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies. Today I made Gingerbread Men, Ninjabread Men, and Sugar Cookies with Royal Frosting. The Royal Frosting was . . . more effort than I anticipated and I didn't really have the right tools, so I just kinda gave up and you can tell by the later decorated cookies. :-)

The trees and stars came out well, most of the holly looked awful, I just got fed up by the time I reached the Angels and didn't give a crap anymore, and the reindeer was just the leftover white and yellow frosting tossed in a piping bag together with sprinkles on top. They look surprisingly good.






Lasagna! It was delicious!
Snickerdoodle cupcakes!
Tomato Cobbler with Guyere Biscuits
Pumpkin Pie!
Turkey Breast!
Sausage and Apple stuffing!


Mini Apple Pie!

The ninjabread men are hilarious! Did you have cutters for those, or did you just mold them into those shapes somehow?

I found the cutters in a kitchen store a while back and thought they were SO COOL. I kinda burned a few of them, but they still taste good.

it's a simple sugar cookie rolled in cinnamon sugar and pressed down so they crinkle when they bake. They are DELICIOUS.
